Our Adjuster Essentials offers the single course you need for your state. For some states, it’s the required pre-licensing course and for others, it is an exam prep course. Either way, the essentials will prepare you to ace your state’s adjuster licensing exam.

• Construction 101 covers how to determine and estimate the type, grade, and quantity of building materials, as well as the basics of the construction process and rooftop assessments and inspections. It was created by a veteran adjuster and is a great precursor to XM8 training.
• The Xactimate Live Webinar will teach you how to work a claim from start to finish so you can hit the ground running when you get assigned those first claims.
• Our Adjuster Success Method course is a new, one-of-a-kind career training webinar. It was created by veteran adjusters who wanted to share what they wished they’d known when they started – everything from how to find work, what tools you’ll need, how to adjust and inspect your first claim, and most importantly, how to set yourself up for a lasting and successful career.

To obtain your Kentucky adjuster license, complete the following steps:

1. Meet the basic Kentucky Adjuster Licensing Requirements

• • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be trustworthy and of good reputation
  • Be financially responsible
  • Be competent to exercise the license
  • Have an office accessible to the public

2. While Kentucky does not require a pre-licensing course, we recommend completing AdjusterPro’s Kentucky Exam Prep Course to ensure passing the state exam

3. You must submit an application before creating an account or scheduling an exam. Submit your application through Kentucky Department of Insurance (KYDOI)

4. Register for and pass the Kentucky State Exam

  • You must submit an application before creating an account or scheduling an exam. You may schedule an examination via obtaining an eServices account after the Department processes your application. If you have never registered for secure access, please click the “create account” link.

5. When applying for a resident license you must request a criminal background check from the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) by submitting an electronic request via AOCFastCheck portal, which notifies you via e-mail when the results are available.

6. Check to see if your license has been issued by logging into the Kentucky Online Gateway

Kentucky grants reciprocal licenses to adjusters who are licensed in their home state or adjusters who hold a Designated Home State (DHS) license, as long as the home or DHS state requires an examination.
